Acolytes are apprentices and servants to the priesthood, their role is to protect the priestess and provide for their every need. The Ruling class of Vyr-Regnum are mostly Elves and many follow the mystic path first as acolytes and then if they survive as pure blood mystics.
Vyr-Regnum acolytes wear the mask of obedience to signal they are faceless until their progression to priesthood.
