The vehicle that went in to production was based on the LVT-2 and used the M5A1 Stuart turret.
This provided a 37mm cannon and three 30.cal machine guns on co-axel.
Production started in Dec 1943 and finished in late 1944 with 510 being issued. 328 went to the US army and 182 to the US marines with none provided to the US allies.
Our model features a one piece resin hull with a white metal turret, hatches, machine guns and crew. Supplied unpainted.
