Following the huge losses of armoured vehicles during the early stages of the Great Patriotic in 1941 the Soviet army started its re-building program. The BA 64 design was a culmination of the lessons learned based on the running gear of the Gaz 64 the vehicle featured multi angled armoured surfaces combined with a reliable 4x4 running gear. It is unique in that it is the only new armoured car designed by the soviets during the war.
Our model in our “Supercast” format beautifully recreates this small but important armoured vehicle. The model features a one piece resin hull and wheels with a resin turret, metal light machine gun and torso crew figure.
The model is supplied unpainted and will require some assembly, however this is very simple and can be completed in under five minutes.
