The T26 tank chassis was widely utilised in a variety of roles, in 1933 the Soviets started developing an engineer vehicle based on the T-26 for a variety of roles. The ST-26 was a bridge layer engineer tank, early versions used a winched system to deploy the bridge section. The ST-26 saw service in the winter war of 1939-40 and early stages of the German invasion of the Soviet Union.
Our ST-26 features our “Supercast” format for the main tank with a single piece hull and tracks, with a resin turret. The bridge main sections are resin with metal parts for building the bridge as a one piece unit.
The model is supplied unpainted and will require assembly, though anyone with competent modelling skill will not have a problem,
